scion exchange update

Our February scion wood exchange and graphing demonstrations were exceptional this year, with scion wood from many tree varieties.  Many thanks to Glen Woodmansee and Bruce Blavin for making grafting look so easy.  Thanks also to the helpful suggestions from the group!   We ended up having to take some of the scion and remaining snacks onto the library patio, but we made do and it all worked out.

Your WLA Chapter needs you!  We need a newsletter editor, a recording secretary, and a program committee.   Want to use your creative skills?  Consider becoming the West LA CRFG Newsletter editor!  Willing to attend planning meetings and take notes?  Consider being our recording secretary.  Are you a reporter?  We need someone to write about our meetings and field trips.  Do you have ideas for meetings and speakers?  Plan to work on our West LA chapter programs, with the full local board assisting you.
